Outage Description/Impact |
Dear Customer,
We have been made aware of a vulnerability related to CVE-2026-41940 affecting our cPanel server environment. To ensure the continued integrity and security of your data, our technical team has taken immediate action to mitigate the risk.
Actions Taken Patching: We have successfully applied the official security patches to address the vulnerability. Containment: Affected systems were isolated to prevent further risk during the remediation process. Restoration: To ensure a clean and secure environment, we are currently in the process of restoring accounts from our most recent secure backups.
Current Impact While the restoration is underway, you may experience intermittent downtime or find that certain files/databases are temporarily reverted to the state of the last backup.
Update: Account restoration is now underway.
We are transitioning accounts back into the production environment following our security patching.
While systems remain offline for the moment, we anticipate full restoration within the next few hours.
We will provide a final notification once all services are live.
UPDATE: We are pleased to inform you that the restoration process is complete. All accounts and services have been returned to production. Our team has successfully addressed the issue and verified that all systems are patched and secure. Given the sudden and impactful nature of this event, if you experience any issues, please raise a support case through our portal.
