aql Service Announcement - Annual Network Freeze

Dear Customer,

Every year during the seasonal period, it is common for communications providers to implement a 'change freeze' to reduce risk related to changes over the Christmas period when many of our clients and suppliers have reduced staffing and reduced capability to respond to any incidents which could be caused by network engineering changes.

When will the freeze take place?
The aql General Network Freeze across all platforms will take place from 09:00 GMT Monday 09th December 2019 until 09:00 GMT Monday 6th January 2020.

The network freeze applies to planned maintenance activity. Normal provisioning activity is unaffected. Any number porting requests will be handled as BAU. However, please be aware, this may be restricted by other CPs operating hours over the Christmas period.
